Amazing work, Delts! We are well on our way to the initial $50k goal. Let's not take our foot off the gas pedal. The more we raise, the more the UAA can do to help rebuild the chapter at Sunset Terrace. Like we said at the beginning of the campaign, funds exceeding the $50,000 goal will go towards general reactivation and social events. We'll be giving you more details on what that support might look like in future newsletters.
Trey and Hunter have been telling the rushees (and new pledges!!) all about our campaign and the response has been wonderful. Your support will be remembered on Sunset Terrace for eons to come.
Thank you to all the Upsilon Alumni who've donated to the Brother Recruitment Fund so far--we're truly a unified brotherhood. This campaign is making a difference, please donate today! Administrative Notes: - Donations are rolling in every day. The newsletter is accurate to Sundaaay, February 2nd. If you donated after that we'll recognize your gift in the next edition.
-
We've had several brothers pledge donations to the UAA campaign. We're only counting the donations once we have the funds in hand. When you execute your pledge, we'll send you a receipt and recognize your donation in the newsletter.
-
Please remember, donations through Benevity, donor advised funds, cash, and checks take longer to process than those through our online platform. If you've donated through these avenues, we have you covered. Once the gift has been processed, the UAA will send you an email receipt and recognize your donation in the newsletter.

Our goal is to provide additional incentives to attract new members, recognizing the substantial effort and time they will be committing to re-seeding and growing the chapter as superneos. To that end, this fundraising campaign aims to raise funds to defray 25% of the year one house bill for each of the first 20 new members (bids signed). 20 Bids x $2500 = $50,000 fundraising goal Annual housing costs are estimated to be just under $10,000 (RPI amount).
Help defray ~25% or $2500 scholarship award per new member for the effort to help restart the chapter. - Alumni can sponsor a bid ($2500) individually, or link up with other alumni to sponsor a bid as a group.
-
Any funds exceeding the $50,000 goal will go towards general reactivation and social events.
- Funds raised as part of this campaign will remain in UAA “coffers” until house renovations are complete ahead of Fall 2025 semester move-in.
-
In the event of insufficient recruitment numbers, donations can be reimbursed or earmarked for other efforts by direction of giver.

| Brothers,
As of Friday (Jan. 31st) the Upsilon Chapter of Delta Tau Delta as received: 14 signed bids so far!! We are well on our way to the 20 signed bids recruitment goal. What an achievement! Trey and Hunter are making connections with more and more young men each day.
The consultants are continuing rushing new members on campus up until Feb. 13th when the pledging ceremony is set to take place.
Informal bidding period begins February 3rd. After that date, Upsilon can continue to hand out bids throughout the semester. While other fraternities are winding down their effort, we're going to continue rushing candidates to meet our recruitment goal.
Trey and Hunter are as psyched for Upsilon as we are for their great job. They feel the love and support from the brotherhood and were wondering if they could be bestowed with their own Upsilon Mugname! I know we're all happy to oblige, so stay on the lookout for a virtual mug night coming soon! Please get your round 1 names ready. There's more details on the effort below. But first, please enjoy a sneak peek at the new class of Delt pledges! This picture was sent to the UAA from Trey. It was taken during the first chapter meeting last week.

Forming the Pledge Education Program
|
Brothers,
The work is just beginning. Once we have our pledge class, there is a lot to learn about being an Upsilon Delt. The chapter advisory committee is asking for our help. Here's a bit of an overview of next steps: - The pledge program will run 8 weeks.
- It will be run by Upsilon alumni--Jeff has already identified the PEC and is working with them on the program.
- The program will be all encompassing--including National and Upsilon learning material.
- The PEC needs your help. They're looking for about 40 brothers to conduct virtual interviews with the pledges. These interviews will be a Q&A session about all things RPI/Delts. Of course, they'll also be collecting your diddly!
-
Please reach out (via the link below) if you'd like to participate. This is crucial to forging links between the new pledges and our Upsilon history--so don't hesitate!
- We'll be setting up a ~up sheet for this program. Once it is ready, we'll let you know via the newsletter.
If you have any questions, contact Jeffery Andritz (Fluke '03), Chapter Advisor.

As we reactivate Upsilon and renovate the Shelter in 2025, your financial, expertise and volunteering support is most crucial. The UAA has been created to strengthen the Delt community by providing face to face and virtual events, provide a communication platform for the Alumni, and importantly, provide continuity and separation from RPI. Your tax-deductible donation is appreciated, and eligible for corporate-matching via Benevity. Also, please consider how you can get involved directly in a UAA role in 2025. Please contact us for more info.
