Introducing the Upsilon Alumni Association (501.c.3) Hope this update finds you well. Over the past several months there has been a significant and successful effort to create an independent Upsilon Delts non-profit entity decoupled from RPI such that we can effectively control our own destiny. There is broad alumni commitment to this approach as demonstrated by the breadth of the team assembled so far and the corresponding financial commitments received. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep you informed, solicit your feedback, and ultimately get you psyched to help develop our new Upsilon Alumni Association Inc. (UAA) organization.  The mission of the UAA is first and foremost to benefit and empower our alumni community, while at the same time strengthening our ability to support chapter rebuilding efforts at RPI. Together, we can build an enduring alumni community to exchange ideas and stories, organize regular and meaningful opportunities to interact, and ultimately provide support for our active Upsilon brothers, our Upsilon alumni, and the next generation of Upsilon Delts.  Below you will find several updates, recordings from previous events, as well as upcoming events. The goal of this virtual webinar series is to enable Upsilon Delts to connect and tap into the massive and talented brain trust that is our alumni network. If you would like to volunteer to give a talk contact Brian Plackis Cheng (Waxoff ’86) for suggestions. See below for previous recordings and register for the next one!  Report: Scholarship Chair (Zac Autio, '10) Brothers, I am happy to report that the Dr. Heinrich Medicus Scholarship Fund / DTD Education Fund is in excellent financial standing. If we had active brothers, we would be able to give out a healthy set of scholarships this year but now that money will be reinvested into the fund. Also due to our current on-campus status, we have made the decision to pause future scholarship fundraising projects until we return to campus. The scholarship is not going anywhere and the fund is not in any jeopardy. I encourage all brothers to donate to the UAA Shelter Renovation Fund, UAA Active Recruitment Fund, UAA Brothers Helping Brothers Fund, or the UAA General Fund.  On behalf of the brotherhood, I would like to send an enthusiastic thank you to all who generously donated to the fund for the AWE fundraiser! We have successfully shown to RPI and our fellow brothers that we are still active and psyched to come together as Upsilon alumni!
